We can pay by installments for nearly everything these days – except our vehicle registration.

In Victoria, we have no option but to pay the ‘rego’ in one lump sum, unless you are a concession card holder,

That’s not fair and neither is the fact that all other Australian states do offer some form of flexible payment.

VACC is campaigning for the immediate introduction of a six month ‘rego’ payment option. This would allow all motorists to break up that one lump sum hit into two manageable payments.

This would ease the burden on households and small business.
