"VACC is passionate about Vehicle Safety.The aim of this multi-media campaign is to alert motorists, Governments and agencies to the importance of driving a well maintained vehicle.We are using radio, newspapers, magazines and electronic media to spread the message.It sounds obvious, but if more vehicles were safe, there would be fewer risks when driving on the roads.
We especially ask drivers to ensure they service their vehicles regularly and ask their repairer to conduct a Five Point Safety Check. The Five Point Safety Check focuses on the key safety areas of the vehicle - brakes, tyres, lights, steering and restraints.
