The Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is pleased to announce the winners of the Target 2020 ‘Car of the Future’ competition.

“The standard of entries has been particularly high this year,” VACC General Manager, Communications and Marketing, Tim O’Brien said.

“Students have not only produced highly innovative and incredibly stylish designs, but they have also thought deeply about the economic and environmental challenges facing this industry and personal transport,” Mr O’Brien said.

Winners in the Design and Model-making categories will be presented with individual cheques for $3000, plus an additional $3000 for each prize winner’s school, TAFE or University.

Winners in the Essay categories will receive $500, plus an additional $500 for each prize winner’s school, TAFE or University.

The winners and shortlisted entries will be exhibited at this year’s Melbourne International Motor Show (February 27 to March 9). The Target 2020 presentation ceremony will be on Saturday March 7. Click here to see the winning entries on the Target 2020 website.
