VACC is pleased to announce it has become one of the major sponsors of this year’s International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show (ITTES).
The event will be at the Melbourne Showgrounds, Ascot Vale, on March 18-20.
As a platinum sponsor, VACC branding will be displayed on all official ITTES promotional material and VACC will host a stand in the Grand Pavilion. The industry trade show will be open to the public and more than 35,000 people are expected to attend the three day event.
“VACC is delighted to become a platinum sponsor of the 2010 International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show. It continues our commitment to the event, following our involvement at the inaugural 2008 show, through the CVIA Division,” VACC Executive Director, David Purchase, said.
“VACC has a long association with heavy vehicles, through our special body manufacturers and new and used truck retailers. Through the Commercial Vehicle Body Manufacturers Association (CVBMA) and Commercial Vehicle Industry Association (CVIA) Divisions, VACC is an active member in the Truck and Trailer sector,” Mr Purchase said.
VACC is also a member of the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Australia (CVIAA) and plays an important role by lobbying Governments, campaigning for greater Vehicle Safety and promoting the ‘Guide to Safe Work Related Driving’.
“VACC at the International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show is a natural fit. Our presence will enable us to interact on a face-to-face basis with the Industry and to discuss issues in an environment ‘where business is done’,” Mr Purchase said.
ITTES is the largest dedicated road transport show ever to be staged in Australia and the largest heavy duty road transport show staged in the Southern Hemisphere. All major truck manufacturers, over 50 of the nation’s top trailer body builders and the cream of the industry’s ancillary equipment suppliers are all dedicated to making the 2010 event the biggest and best Australia has ever witnessed.
