A VACC initiative, Women in Automotive (WinA) is a network of women who work or operate businesses in the automotive, established in 1999. WinA has a committee of 10 women from across the industry across Victoria and boasts a membership of 350 women from trades, sales and trainee level to women in professional positions, including company directors.

Women are becoming an increasingly important part of the automotive industry. Growing numbers of women are choosing careers in the industry, including choosing to run and own automotive businesses.

In line with its Charter the Network runs events that include practical 'hands on' workshops, and keynote addresses. The Network is open to all women in Victoria who work in the automotive industry and membership is free.
