The VACC's Government and Public Affairs Department maintains an active approach to policy issues through monitoring, analysis, and research, and makes regular submissions to government that reflect VACC’s position on legislation and regulatory proposals. Learn more about our advocacy work.
We also publish regular media releases and publications, and host events relating to automotive industry issues.
A VACC initiative, Woman in Automotive (WinA) is a network of women who work or operate businesses in the automotive. It was established in late 1999. WinA has a Committee of ten women from across the industry, including regional Victoria.
VACC members also receive access to technical, Industrial Relations (IR) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) resources.
